"Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. "First, the owner Terri knows about hospitality. She gets it just right. Very helpful and knowledgable without being intrusive. She was especially helpful regarding local events and history. The room was beautifully appointed with delightful surprises everywhere. We were spoilt for choice at breakfast. And, the local pub was friendly and welcoming with excellent food options including a Curry night on a Thursday. "
