"We had a fabulous 4 days at the hotel. Breakfast was exceptional, and food generally was a good standard. Every member of staff went out of their way to make the stay so enjoyable. Room with views over the lake was excellent. Two big events were put on over the weekend, but no excessive noise. Out only slight disappointment was the spa facilities were fully booked,.which the ladies in our party were looking forward to using. "

We had a lot of noise in our room and asked to be moved - the receptionist was very understanding and we were moved to a lovely , quiet room at the back of the hotel and also found a bottle of Prosecco and. "I stayed at La Fregate over the new year period and was looked after impeccably. The room was beautifully clean and the outlook over Saint Peter Port was stunning. The room service was prompt and all staff members were consistently helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious and had me looking forward to breakfast each morning! "We were moved to the OGH and were throughly spoiled. We had a King sea-view room which was wonderful. The bed and bedding were first class, very comfortable. The hotel was immaculate and staff were all impeccable. We loved our four days there and wish it could have been longer!"

"This place is in very quiet area and surrounded by lovely garden and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest Fermain beach. It had a few choices of adjacent restaurants but the choice is slightly limited unless you go to St Peter’s port town. The hotel staff are all lovely and friendly and accommodated to our needs. The breakfast choice was so great and plentiful, and delicious so we enjoyed it very much. There was a sauna and swimming pool which we could use until 8pm. The room we had had a balcony so it was a bit pricy option compared to not having no balcony but it was worth it although I was not pleased with the fact that when the balcony window was open in the morning, sometimes I could smell someone (possibly staff) was having a cigarette/ smoke outside just right down of our balcony at the end of the building side on the second floor. I do not like the smoke smell so this was the down side of the room. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there over all. "
