"Our first impression of the Le Meridien Chanba Hotel in Xi'an was awe-inspiring due to its location, majesty, lights and modern look. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve. Comes with small kitchenette and sofa/table, so much more functional than hotel room, feels 5 star at a very good price, about 500m to train station area with lots of good restaurants and a good Hema supermarket. But most of the time just call taxi. I'd definitely stay here again in Xi'an. "
