"We booked this hotel because it is centrally located in Umbria. It is quite remote and we did quite a bit of driving to get places. The hotel consists of several buildings in a country setting. "Overall good service, except for unexpectedly closed restaurant inside the hotel (had planned dinner before a theatrical performance, but had to skip it). Two suggestions: 1- move breakfast hours half hour forward: start it half hour later and serve it until 10:00 am instead of 9:30 am 2- when giving out a room at check-in , if you assign to the guest a special needs room for guests with handicaps (but your guest had not asked for one), it would be good to inform that guest about it (at times...

"This is a truly unique property in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the tranquility. We did have a/c in our room, along with a mini fridge and kettle. The service, food and beer were amazing. My only complaint was that the pool was not yet open for use during our stay. However, instead of spending time at the pool as planned, we drove a short distance to the charming town of Assisi. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend getaway at San Biagio and look forward to...
