"We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"A very nice hotel in the center of Varna. There are many dining options nearby and the hotel itself has a restaurant and bar as well. The breakfast buffet is great and provides lot's of different options, both sweet and savoury. The rooms are rather large and fitted with air conditioners. I will definitely visit again."

"It’s literally 2 mins walk from the beach. The food was good, had a soup for every meal. Wish the buffet has more traditional options, i can eat (but won’t) chicken nuggets everywhere…thank god there was sopska all the time :) unlimited drinks and ice cream during the day. the girls and guys in the restaurant and pool bar were extremely friendly and i could see how hard they were working - but unfortunately I can’t say the same thing about the receptionist Anastasia who made my friend cry...

"I booked this hotel last moment because of a storm and change of travel plans. The bed in the bedroom was in a terrible condition. There were no clean linen for the mattress size provided . There were two smaller size cover linen provided, folded on the bed which were very old. The pillows smelled. There was no clean sheet provided for the mattress - only a mattress protector . The mattress protector was very dirty, full of sand, hair, old stains and unsanitary. The bathroom smelled terribly....

"This is my worst all inclusive vacation ever! I want my money back !!! I was there with my friends,and here are some of the things that are so bad!!! 1. We were there from July 8 to July 11, and wasn’t any A/c working. 2. For the entire resort they have only 1 [one only) iron , and no iron birds. 3. The kid swimming pool was dirty, water was green . 4. No shampoo , or any any other things only one small soap. 5 No towels at the beach, they did not change them in the room 6. "It was our first time at the Secrets sunny beach. Overall it is a nice resort with great view from the balcony. Since it’s end of season, there were outdated beach umbrellas, cold pool and a lot of repetitive food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some impressive hotels nearby but need to clear the small shops on the walkway to the central square."
