"Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them. "

Every little thing was extra (like towel rentals, no class yoga only private lessons) which wasnt a big deal but still different from what we are used to. The place itself is well thought out and designed. "

"Walked up from the train station. Beautiful location. Initially confused as to where lobby/ check-in is located because of so many Pousada Vila Obidos signs, but once we located the proper entrance, our experience could not have been better. Pedro is an excellent employee, giving us suggestions, answering questions, seeing us walking along the street and ensuring we were doing well later in the day. Walking along the top of the wall is so fun and you must try a ginja!"

"Absolutely amazing location and hosts.Perfect for English speaking guests.Super comfortable and superb Breakfast i didn’t need lunch after it there was so much on offer.This is the place to stay when visiting this majestic mountains and quaint Country side. "I often visit here on business and the maim attraction is the fitness room. I used the facilities twice during my stay but one of the running machines, the elliptical trainer and both the weights machines require service, repair or replacement."
