"Great Hotel "

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. The rooms do not have air conditioning and we need it cool to sleep well but the open windows and fan were enough to be comfortable. "

"I think the price of the breakfast (I invited a colleague to have bf with me) is too high, given that is a quite standard breakfast. Outlets do not work when light switch is turned off. Quite difficult for charging mobile phone and other devices. Somewhat weird is that the bathroom is not separated from the apartment by a regular door, but by glass door, particularly since a window is facing the bathroom."

"It is a nice hotel with good facilities! Food is excellent but expensive. At this price point breakfast should be included, 26 euros per person is a lot in my opinion. We had a great time and will consider visiting again."
