"Room was very rundown as though Expedia clients get the worse rooms. Toilet ran all night, had to get the lamp fixed, curtains were fithy, and entrance garden all overgrown making it hard to enter the room. Too bad- potentially a great place but needs alot of work."

"If traveling by car, this is a splendid place to stay in the Duro Valley. Staff and room were very nice. A wonderful breakfast was included, which seems to be a vanishing practice in Europe these days. The hotel offers diner (not included) as well. The town of Tabuaco is quite small so dining options near by are limited. We would stay there again."

"Booked at this hotel mainly for the spa facilities. The water in the indoor pool and the jacuzzi could be warmer. Parking can be tight. The road to get there is quite narrow. "

The property keepers were an amazing elderly couple who were kind, happy and loving. It is a small village with stone streets, narrow passages and just so much charm. "The hotel is old style it must of been beautiful when it was new the amenities are ok but not great, the thermal is down the street and a new spa across the river. Roads are narrow and very windy, parking at the hotel are to small and hard to figure out where to drive in at. Rooms were large but not well arranged like I said old style"
