"Shunde is a bustling place, but this hotel is in the quieter part. Hotel is outstanding, if only American Holiday Inn’s could hit this mark. The facilities are great, everything is tidy and exceeds expectations especially for the price. There isn’t a bar in the hotel but there is one in the plaza called SD (Shunde) Home and it’s a great little place. "

"When we checked in, they couldn’t find our reservation record which we paid in advance to Expedia. we booked a lower rate room with no breakfast and have to pay at the spot (US$60 cheaper than what we paid to Expedia). When we checked out, they refunded us what we paid to them but not the amount that we paid to Expedia since they already received the payment from Expedia."

"Staff tries to be helpful but English is limited. Room was dated and time for an overhaul. Main buffet restaurant closes at 8pm. 15 minute cab ride to main part of town. Nothing for foreigners nearby the hotel."
