"It was close to everything in the city center including, shops, cafés, restaurants, and bus stations. The room was spacious and clean, and had a balcony which I enjoyed."

"Nice clean and well located hotel. The room was a bit outdated and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was perfectly fine for one night’s stay. While the mini bar was surprisingly included in my room rate, I was equally surprised to see that there were no amenities provided (body lotion, cotton balls etc). I didn’t try the breakfast."

"Coimbra is a very busy city with a lot of traffic that clearly creates ongoing parking challenges and general congestion. The property itself is hard to access but once you’re in, is quite good. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent with a particularly good bathroom. The hotel has many group bookings and insufficient elevators so expect a wait at reception or getting to/ from your room. "This was a fantastic find. The property is very unique and memorable with the old pharmacy decor. It is very well located in the old town on the pedestrian street (you do have a short walk with luggage to get to the location). The room was relatively spacious for a European hotel room and very comfortable. I was concerned about noise from the pedestrian street but the shutters were sound proofed and we had no issue with noise. I would encourage any tourist to Coimbra to look at this property for...
