"The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. I was only staying one night and I asked for an upgrade to a room with a view towards the pool. The price they quoted me was significantly more expensive. "This is a beautiful property. The buildings and surrounding countryside. The outdoor amenities are terrific with a large pool and a jetted smaller pool (cold water). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was small and utilitarian and the bed was too hard for our liking. We are dinner and breakfast there and both meals were good (especially the cooked breakfast). The only downside of the property is that it is aging and in need of updating and maintenance. "This is an amazing hotel! You will not be sorry.. perfect location to visit the town of Spoleto. You can walk to just about anywhere from this hill top location near many of the historical sights and great shopping and restaurants. It's a real gem, built in the 60's with quality materials and cool vibe.. you won't be sorry! Just follow the signs to the top of the hill... spectacular views!"
