"I wanted to a romantic, traditional mountain retreat and the Auberge was perfect. Our room had a small garden where we could sit and have a coffee and stare at Mont Blanc and watch the sun and moon light the peaks. The room is cozy and the bathroom has a whirlpool type bathtub. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Auberge is up the mountain and we like to walk so loved it. The village center is a 15 minute walk down the hill so you must walk back up the hill lol! "Was in town for a running event. The hotel employee Eugenia was instrumental in helping me prepare. She went out of her way, above and beyond, to ease my worry on multiple fronts. Wonderful stay, very accommodating "

"A very nice hotel with good food and services. The view is wonderful, the WiFi excellent, the room clean and roomy, the staff very helpful. One major problem: They allowed, every day, 3-4 fifteen passenger vans to block the entire arrival drive. Arriving guests had to walk uphill on a narrow cobblestone drive, with no sidewalk, with all of their luggage, children, etc.. in order to enter the hotel. "Breakfast was outstanding for quality and variety. Awesome way to start the day! The room was comfortable, bathroom beautiful and practical. The floor definitely is in need of a renovation. I would also suggest more or better choices for dinner menu, but that is just a personal preference. "

"Our room was on the side facing the bus loading area and was quite noisy. Also it was hot. No AC but had to close windows because of noise. On the plus side they had a very nice pool and great restaurant. Also I left a pair if glasses there and they mailed them home."
