"This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

"This property was charming and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! Room was spacious and I do love how the French separate the toilet from the bedroom and shower room! I just wish the tv had more English channels but we did not come there to watch TV anyway! And the hotel was walking distance to small shops and other restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! Very quiet and peaceful. The attached restaurant was excellent, but was only serving one of the nights we were there because they were hosting a wedding on the weekend. I arrived in the evening after a long journey to find everything closed but for the help of the caretaker I would have been stranded and seriously at risk. I had to find another hotel in Les Eyzies and pay 70 euros for a taxi to get there. "

"Air conditioner was totally inadequate. Wi-Fi was poor. Toilet and bathroom were separate; latter required two steps. People at reception were unfriendly, refused to speak English and were unable to recommend a quality restaurant in Sarlot. Nice pool, good breakfast. Entrance off main road precarious. Four star rating undeserved."
