"This is one of our favourite hotels and was our fourth time staying there. The location is excellent- right in the centre of town- but peaceful. We had a room in the annexe which was good because at the time there were extensive renovations taking place to the exterior of the main building which was shrouded in green fabric. Internally it was renovated I believe last year to a very high standard and was modern whilst retaining many original features. "Not as customer friendly as a full fledged hotel stay ( this is a resort village, not an hotel), It has perks (animations, entertainment and vacation spirit). . The only minor issue, the inside parking is located inside a set of pine trees, Some parking places are very difficult to access (partially blocked by the trees), and the number of places is pretty small, if you arrive late (after 8:00pm,9:00pm, you will have to park outside in the street (there is plenty of room,though)"

"READ ALL THE REVIEWS - ALL TRUE - DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE! They have taken over £500 out of my current account and £400 from my credit card account. No explanation, won't take calls. I paid in full and used no services - THEY WON'T TAKE MY CALL OR RESPOND TO EMAILS. these people are dangerously corrupt. Literally, the worst place I have ever stayed in. You have to pay for sheets and towels!!! There is no air con or fans in the huts. The place looks like a POW camp Staff are exceptionally rude...

"I was not aware of the £425 deposit we had to put down! The receptionist and colleagues were rude, even dismissive at times. The cabin was clean but univiting, got good we didn’t have a cat as we wouldn’t been able to swing it!! Felt under pressure all the time in case something got slightly damaged. We then had to clean out the cabin to get deposit back!! It was also in the shade so I didn’t feel like we were on holiday!! "
