"The service was friendly and welcoming. The room was not so good. Quite small. bed was comfortable. Shower was very small but with plenty of hot water. no refrigerator. poor amenities. In the shower there is one dispenser with some liquid that is a one-for-all (shampoo conditioner and soap). It is very diluted and of poor quality. No slippers in the room. "First impressions were slightly underwhelming, but ignore those, the hotel is excellent and the staff are great. The food was wonderful and the pool was lovely. To swim and watch kites and eagles overhead is a rare pleasure and now a glorious memory. Criticisms - the room tended to get quite hot and there is public transport but it’s a bit of a walk away, but those a minor criticisms. On the main question - would I go back? Yes. Gladly. "This wellness hotel is beyond excellent!!! From the amazing services to the views of the Black Forest and the super lush meadows from our room. Hotels.com boasted "4 restaurants" while in actuality there was only one restaurant with 4 different sitting areas with the same menu and you could not choose in which area you wished to sit. The older staff was also not at all friendly and acted a bit annoyed with every question or request. There were also loud noises with the creaking of the wood steps and hallways."
