"Wow - nothing was too much. The team at Small hotel just always surprised us from treats in our rooms to my car being washed (which I’m still in absolute shock and wow - that’s a memorable moment - thank you Wright). The team are all friendly - Noami, Chanti, Charles, Wright and rest of the team are incredible. The actual hotel is beautiful, it’s like a sanctuary. "This is a really lovely setting, with the rooms facing onto the property's vineyard setting. Everything is very comfortable and clean. The new owner Estelle is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and concerned that our visit was perfect. Her dinner recommendation (22 on Church) was one of the best meals we had in a 9-day trip to the Cape region of South Africa. "This is one of my favourite places near Robertson. Beautiful setting with a little pond you can overlook from the bar. In the evening phantastic atmosphere and vwry peaceful. Also the staff very friendly and I received an excellent breakfast. Had been here before when it still was Rosendal Winery. Now new owners who have some excellent ideas how to develop the place. I really enjoyed the discussion with them. Hope to come back one day and see the further development"

"This property is actually Mimosa Lodge. Lovely, old property - the bathroom was a bit dated but the air conditioning was powerful and it was quiet. Beautiful verandah. Highlight of the stay was the on site restaurant - gobsmackingly incredible food! Great staff!"

"Amazingly peaceful stay at this beautiful grand old house filled with gorgeous and well mantained antiques. The breakfast was incredible, and we really appreciated the fresh baked gluten free bread! The service was all we could wish for and we enjoyed swimming in the pool outside under the stars. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a break from the city hustle and bustle."
