"I love Villa Sassa! We extended our stay and we would stay here again. Love their Pilates schedule. Their breakfast is beyond…servers are amazing!! Pilates instructors and Zumba coaches are incredibly amazing. We love Ele, Sandra, Laura and everyone there!!! "

"The staff were great and the hotel has big rooms! The only thing is that the prices for a water (CHF 4) AND breakfast (CHF 35/person) are way expensive. You better eat somewhere else. ;)"

"My husband and I stayed in October of '24 and the hotel was absolutely gorgeous with amazing views. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with the most delicious omelet and croissants of the trip. Parking was amazing and the staff service impeccable. Would HIGHLY recommend."

"It's a very nice hotel however the location is not really pretty. It is next to the local train station which i very useful as the hotel provides a free public transport pass for the whole of the region. The hotel lacked a menu for massage services for the SPA, which was a bit disappointing. "

"Good hotel, convenient; very kind friendly staff. It is dated so we did not have hot water first night. The rooms decor is old but okay. Spacious enough. The AC does not turn on because it is cooler times, no choice but need to open the semi balcony door for cool air / circulation however bugs will come in. Had to clip the curtain together with hair clip and spray curtain with bug spray to prevent bugs from entering. Have to close doors by dawn to stop ferry noises, or mum the public’s chit...

"Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch. Everything is within close walking distance, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely lovely small hotel directly on Lake Como in Varenna. We loved our small but very well equipped room and bathroom. Loved the “ rain shower”. Nice balcony with beautiful views. Excellent breakfast in a stunning setting. Excellent service, too. "

"Our stay at the Villa Clementina was spectacular. This villa is owned by the sweetest family (Barbara and Remo). When staying here we felt as though we were apart of the family. The staff is wonderful (especially Orietta, Anisa, Roberta, and Colin). Mery and Gheeta did a fabulous job at keeping our rooms tidy and were very friendly. Everyone was attentive, warm, and open. "Amazing cozy hotel with gorgeous views on the promenade. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms perfect with the balcony and lake view. Breakfast buffet was very good and the entire staff was so nice. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Lake Maggiore area. "
