"Very near to train station (but not loud, train is end of the line so not passing through traffic). Staff were very friendly and spoke English. Easy walk to old town area and great views. Bus to the castles picks up right across the street by the train station. Room was spacious and clean. Room stayed comfortably warm in the winter. "

"We stayed one night in September 2024. Room 286 has a balcony overlooking the lake and the mountains. Geraniums line the deck railing. The room is beautifully designed with plenty of space for your things and it is very well lit. Above the usual care was taken with the lighting, the ceiling painted detail above the bed and the photograph mural on one wall. The best room we have stayed in on this three week trip. "Have stayed here so many times and have had brilliant service so it was a shock that checking out this time was a bit of a nightmare. We were just leaving our room at 11:08 when the phone rang, it was reception saying we were late checking out. Clearly stated on my reservation was noon.
