"By the river, this hotel is ideally situated for exploring Cambridge. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are well appointed, cosy and very clean. "Really enjoyable 2 night stay while exploring Cambridge. Breakfasts very good with no complaints, lovely building & grounds. Only negatives were that the only dining available was more a cafe than a restaurant & there wasn't a nice lounge to relax in afterwards. It would have been ideal to relax with a drink in the evenings in one of the old rooms like the Stuart Room with an open fire in it. Instead we ate both nights at The 3 Horseshoes pub which is a 5min walk & is highly recommended."

"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The service was 11/10. Really attentive and friendly from all areas. Food menu not extensive but I enjoyed my meal. The pool was lovely. The changing room lockers being code rather than key was great and I liked the facility to be able to dry my costume. The room was spacious and modern with lots of plugs and had a separate shower as well as a bath. There was a fridge but it didn’t seem switched on. Didn’t faff but would have been nice if it was cold....

"The hotel was welcoming with Christmas decorations. There was a pool, gym, sauna and steam room. Sea bass for dinner. I told them the room was too hot and I couldn’t turn the radiator down. Next day radiator was off and there was a big fan in my room! A very good value place to stay if you need to spend time in Peterborough."
