"Our stay at Golden Tulip Marseille was good overall. Our check in didn't go well, took over an hour to get a satisfactory rooms. We were getting adjoining rooms, the first two sets we got, one room would smell ok while the other would have an unpleasant smell. The third set of rooms we got were much better. The staff were very friendly and helpful, part of what took so long is they had to have their maintenance man go check the rooms to make sure they did smell. Having taken over an hour to get...

"The hotel is well located, clean and minimalist. The only critique is that luggage has to be brought up a steep two floors staircase to the reception area. Then there’s a small elevator to go up the other floors. "

"We had an amazing view of the port from our room. It was a decent walk to the dining and shopping area. Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. Only one little complaint was the water during our shower was a bit inconsistent-extremely hot back to normal. Overall ,we had a great stay. "
