"From the moment we walked up, we felt so welcome and comfortable. The manager was incredible at arranging all of our experiences from local temples to the elephant safari and an amazing massage. Food and beverage service is personal and accommodating. We loved the plunge pool at our room, especially after the amazing climb to see Sigiriya Rock! "A little bit of frustration as it could be a gem, but the attention to details in the room make it average. Service was excellent, food was superb and properly priced, rooms were big and well designed, the flaw lies in the attention to details. Mosquito marks on the walls, cracks not plastered, gaps in doors that allowed bugs and animals (geckos and frogs) to come inside, mosquito net in shower room with wide gaps…I would be expecting this not to happen in a 4 star hotel"

"The last bit of approach to the resort is through an unpaved road. So its natural to be skeptical about what awaits you. But being in a secluded area probably gives the luxury of space. "Siminti was an absolutely amazing host! She was there for all our needs. We got a massage and she had a recommendation. Our safari was axong per her recommendation. She took care of our 3 year old son- always having water for him, making him great food, and being the sweetest person. The room was clean and just what we needed. If I were to return to Sigiriya, I'd stay here again. Walking distance to Sigiriya Rock and about 200 rupees by tuk tuk. "

"Great hotel, lovely room and good food. This was the best value for money hotel we stayed at of the 10 we used in Sri Lanka. It was quiet, looked after and welcoming. With views of the rice fields and even eagles flying over them this place was perfect. You can cycle to the ruins in about 10 minutes and yet avoid the hustle of some other areas. Very recommended."
