"Positive : Room was big and bathrooms are good . House keeping was done everyday . Negative : Swimming pool water was clean but surrounded by so many bugs and lizards . It was not convenient to swim in it . Breakfast was not very fresh . We were also asked to pay for swim towels which was very odd. Room carpet was not clean . "

"It’s not the Ritz Carlton, but it’s close. Reading all the fabulous reviews we were pleasantly surprised that even the best were not quite up What you get when you arrive. The rooms were large and an immaculate clean and everything was top-notch. Breakfast in the morning is great bar in the evening one of the best in town. 10 minute walk to great restaurants and people areas or short taxi ride to the old town. Can’t say enough about this place. "

But then once seeing the room - dirty and stuffy, we weren’t too happy anymore. Food is a buffet, so expectations weren’t high to begin with. It is self served, including beverages. The hotel will provide you a “taxi” company business card and they charge you double what the the local taxi cabs will but won’t tell you anything about how to get a hold of...

"This is a harder review to make in my 71-country visits. Arriving at the hotel, I was buzzed-in to the property's foyer only to discover I would need to use the lift to go one floor up to reception. I was happily-greeted by two very pleasant reception staff who expedited my check-in & took me to my room, showing each area. "Fantastic location, room and staff! Room was clean and quiet, well decorated and a great location. Beautiful grounds and the staff was always helpful when we had questions. Checked in late, but they still served us dinner in the restaurant. Good food too. Good breakfast in the morning. Wonderful stay. Would stay there again in the future."
