"We stayed in a basic room for 4 nights. The rooms itself was probably the smallest we've ever stayed in and was very simple (no kettle, bedside table etc). However, it was in a really nice location, within walking distance (15 mins) from the hubbub, but in a quiet location and was really clean. We usually use earplugs when away but we didn't need to here! Amazing! Check-in/out was super speedy and the pool was a delight after a long day of sightseeing. "We had an amazing holiday at Hotel Hambros. The staff, the pool, the location, the breakfast and restaurant. Guido and Stefania at the front of house went above and beyond to help us and Susan by the pool was a ray of sunshine every day and couldn’t do enough for us. If we had any type of problem or question or concern everyone was quick to be of service to us and help us out. No problem was to big and we were made to feel so welcome. With family hands-on management and experienced and quality staff, out stay was faultless and we really appreciated their advice and arrangements of airport transfers and local guidance etc. Nice wholesome breakfast was included and the a-la-carte dinner menu was extensive and the food excellent.
