"The accommodations I initially booked didn't work out, so I ended up booking into The George on short notice. It ended up being a great place to stay! It was very clean and comfortable, with only a little bit of street noise drifting up to my room. The tub was fantastic (and the duckie was a cute touch). It would have been nice to have a handheld shower wand, but the overhead worked well enough. The beds were very comfortable, with clean and soft bedding. The location was great - easy to walk to various places in the city, but it didn't feel overwhelming or busy. I was extremely comfortable and happy here, and will book again if I return to Limerick!"

"For Americans (or other North Americans) coming in via Shannon: a short (25 min?) drive into the city from the airport, parking in underground garage that is gated. Very helpful staff that understood I was flat out exhausted but had to stay up for jet lag. I could leave my luggage in my car until the room was ready. Short walk into city center, sites to see, and the river walk. Strongly recommended. Buffet or to-order breakfast was robust, more than enough, and with a nice view of the river. Go ahead and add that. Great base for operations."
