"Lovely heritage listed and beautifully restored Georgian manor, with well appointed and very comfortable rooms. Great location on the River Derwent, within walking distance to the town centre."

"Host was very friendly, we ate the meal (lamb & wallaby) - both were good Pleased we did order because on a Monday evening there were no other dining options in Bothwell. We arrived late because of flights into Hobart so missed 1st course, so suggestion would be to arrive by 7pm if you ordered the dinner Little cottages are cute and comfy."

"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."

"Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said 2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. "It was inclement weather, but I was tucked up warmly inside, great selection of warm drinks and loaf of homemade bread to keep me happy, thank you to the owners. The breakfast selection was great too. I would’ve loved to look around, a beautiful area, but the weather was wild."
