"Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"

It was beautifully designed, spotless and very quiet. We had an extremely long and stressful day and needed to be somewhere safe. We walked along the beach, ordered a pizza not too far away. "Bel appartement avec tout le nécessaire. Belle vue, retiré de tout. Par contre, les 5km avant d'arriver sont épiques. Une route très étroite de montagne où il est très difficile de se croiser avec une autre voiture. "

On the negative side, the shower was hand-held, with half glass door so the floor will get wet. The young woman behind the front desk at check-in had an attitude, and when I asked about a room on the ground floor instead of walking up the rounded stairway - the hotel was empty, (I explained I had an issue with stairs, she literally laughed at me). "Se trata de un hotel con un encanto especial. Los detalles están cuidados al máximo al igual que la decoración. La habitación es muy amplia, la cama muy cómoda y el baño perfecto para una ducha relajante. El hotel es un remanso de paz y tranquilidad y está muy bien ubicado. El trato ha sido exquisito por parte del personal. Creemos que debería haber un hotel como este en cada provincia de España."
