Not for the business traveler who wants a 24 hour service, gym and bar, but great for couples, small family, and end of long trip repose. Moroccan food is fantastic!"

"My room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel. A nightclub which exited at the front of hotel was open nearly every night until 4 or 5am. Very noisy from 2am until 5am most nights. I stayed 2wks total. Many taxies outside dropping off and picking up through the night. Luckily I sleep well but was woken up several times with horns beeping and many people shouting. "This Riad is a beautiful traditional Moroccan home with guest rooms located off open air courtyards that are weatherproof but airy. The extended family who run the business is lovely and although their English is somewhat limited, they always figured out what I was asking and made every effort to assist. "The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating, such as for extra blanket. Flexibility with breakfast schedule on departure day. "Dining was way too expensive. Dinner cost $45 per person in the basement with no ambiance. Food was OK, but certainly not fine dining. Sheets on bed we slept in barely covered the bed, meaning one of us had to use the extra blanket. In the room we were in #4 we never had hot water. Showers were lukewarm. "
