"It is in the grounds of a castle, you can walk around the grounds. he road to it can be easily missed but as it is in a small village you will not get lost. The hotel is new , the bed was a little too hard for my liking. I had to change room as the room was not made up but the staff sorted me out with a new room quickly. the top class restaurant next door in the chateau by the moat is was not open on the day i went but the hotel has a limited but very good food. "

"We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area...
