"The first night we stayed we would award top marks, but on or return 4 days later the second room was not as good. It was not as clean, the shower screen support was loose, the tv was hanging and not working properly. The furniture on the terrace was very dirty, we cleaned it before we could sit down. We were served a meal in our room, but thought that the dirty dishes would be removed, but they remained until we signed out"

"From my experience, the hotel doesn't quite live up to its billing as a 4 star property. (i.e. wifi totally unreliable, hair dryer wrapped with electrical tape and not working, leaky shower plumbing, dangerously slippery bathtub, peeling paint in the bathroom). The site has a spectacular view across the Loire but the property needs some upkeep. The saving grace was the staff who dealt with clients' concerns cheerfully and efficiently. Plus the housekeeping was top-notch."

"Excellent campsite, the perfect size for us as we are not a fan of large campsites. It is was fairly quiet and the accommodation (we stayed in a cabin) was clean, modern and reasonably well spaced. It was very well equipped and little items like a dish cloth and washing liquid ect just make the difference. It is just a really well done site. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend. Our 3 year old loved the pool."
