"Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch. Everything is within close walking distance, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again."

"The Hotel Milan Speranza Au Lac is a 4 star hotel located by the lake boulevard. The hotel is a reliable choice in the slightly lower end of 4 star hotels. We had a nice two night stay at the hotel. The room and the bathroom were as expected but we were slightly disappointed as there was no balcony and the view was to the building on the opposite side of the street. The breakfast was of good standard and contained everything you can expect. Also the service at breakfast was of unusually high...

"It's located on the waterfront of Lago D'Orta, and Isola San Guilio in an eye shot distance. Nice vista on the lake. The property is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. I fee like this area better than Lake Como in which is less touristy and more quiet and better for relaxation"

"Junior suite was amazing, large room with a huge bathtub! Separate toilet and shower too. Bed was large and comfortable. Room was clean in all areas too. "
