"This property has no reception. Arrived at 11pm (management was contacted earlier and were aware of our late arrival). Despite that we were unable to get hold of anyone at first to let us in. "Hello, This is not a small hotel as the pictures seem to show. This is basically a place renting rooms to people arriving in the evening for an early morning rise to see sunrise on Mt Bromo. I have never seen rooms and bathrooms so dirty, the bed sheet were dirty. There is no reception at all. We were obviously not expected on arrival. "This hotel is convenient and the location is scenic. However the hotel is very close to the road which results in a lot of traffic noise. While the room was spacious, the hotel could use some upkeep. The restaurant was not operating at the time of our stay. All in all, as a jumping off point for a Bromo tour it was fine. We arranged a driver through reception and he was fantastic. "

"The room is a concrete cube with a bed in it and about a foot and a half of space on two sides. The bathroom is a shared squat toilet. I never found the shower, if they had one. The host, when I arrived, dropped me in my room without pointing it out, and when I came downstairs to ask everyone was gone and the property was locked. "We were checked in right away. The room had a bed, two blankets and a bathroom without a sink. The water was cold. We asked for another blanket because it was so cold and staff wouldn’t provide even though there was no one else in the other rooms. Close to the Bromo entrance gate. I would only stay here for one night."
