"The hotel is beautifully set in downtown Norfolk and some of the views are simply breathtaking. But there are some signs of wear and tear on the once-new building that need to be addressed. My door looked like someone attempted to break in previously and the wall paper is aging. "

" The service people was pressure washing the benches and other building surfaces. The interior of the building was neat and carpet was clean. All personnel polite and always spoke when passing. The service of the food was good and cooked well. I enjoyed the visit."

"The property was not clean. Dust on fans, counters had a film on them, mold in shower, dirt under beds. Lacking in fire alarms. Ceiling fans did not have all the light bulbs or were burned out. The pictures did not show the true age of the property. We could only get to the backyard through the side fence where someone else had entrance to the 'mother-in-law' suite, so we couldn't let our dogs out there. It was one of the reasons we rented the property. The location was what we expected."
