Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. "If you need to leave early, you might have problems. Nobody at reception before 8am. House is locked up. You need to pay your check the night before otherwise they get very unhappy. The restaurant was good. Waiters friendly. Surroundings and landscape great. Owner should accommodate early leaving guests needs. Serve earlier breakfast and allow Dropbox for keys and someone at reception in the early morning to allow easy bill pay. Thank you."

"Friendly and helpful staff at a nice hotel in a quiet corner of the Black Forest. Dining was very good, and while the breakfast was not elaborate it was tasty and staff kept the buffet stocked even during a morning rush. All in all a good value."
