"The hotel and the room were amazing. The room was so big and comfortable with a lovely Scottish decor. The food on the first night was a little disappointing and very few staff working because it was a quiet time so it meant a lot of waiting at times. There is a gorgeous big sitting room with open fire and lots of queen Anne chairs and couches for reading and board games. "Overall a very comfortable experience. This is the second time we stayed in Macdonald's hotel, opted for half board and loved our meals everynight. Breakfast was great, would be nice to have meatfree options for vegetarians, even if not in buffet but can offer to prepare it if requested, still loved scones and beans and pancakes, kind and caring staff."
