"Ik vond het hotel erg prettig gelegen, zowel voor wandelingen in het buitengebied als om even snel de stad in te lopen. Het hotel is bijna een resort te noemen, met alle faciliteiten. De kamer was buitengewoon prettig en groot. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Ik had nog best wat langer willen blijven. Het enige minpuntje is dat het er niet heel stil is."

"Second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant. The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby. "My usual hotel appeared to have been fully booked so I decided to give the IJsselhotel, sorry the Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel Aan De IJssel a try. "I tried to alter my booking dates through Expedia's website, was informed by their Bot that it'd all been taken care of. Didn't receive the promised confirmation email so called the hotel to check and it hadn't happened at all. Thank you so much to the guy at the hotel for re-arranging everything so perfectly, otherwise we'd have turned up without a reservation. Next time we'll book with the hotel directly. "Great was welcomed and upgraded on arrival, to a room with air con, staff were very friendly and helpful, the only negative is I felt that the breakfast was overpriced, however it was presented very well and each day was a different treat. But at nearly 30 euros including tax this was a bit excessive for breakfast."
