"We had a great time in Xi'an and loved the HeSu Designer Hotel & Suites. The young staff were all very friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and modern. Location was about a 15-minute walk from the old city wall. Lots of things to see within walking distance. "

Receptionists do not speak very good english but they did their very best to help me especially when I was contacting my Didi driver for my pick-up. "Such a great experience! The location is fantastic—I could walk to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Datang Everbright City. There’s also a mall next door with plenty of food and drink options. The hotel room is well-equipped, and the in-unit all-in-one washer/dryer is a great convenience. The walk-in shower and separate bathtub add to the comfort. "Our first impression of the Le Meridien Chanba Hotel in Xi'an was awe-inspiring due to its location, majesty, lights and modern look. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve. A little more attention can be given towards cleanliness. Breakfast was good but whatever else we ordered was not as good like everywhere else in China."
