"John and I are in our 70s and stayed at The Manoir du Roselier with our daughter and son-in-law. I can honestly say that we have stayed in many wonderful hotels over our 54 years together but this one is way beyond exceptional. "The hotel is situated on a lake and has a spa and golf facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our upgraded suite was lovely. Being out of season, the food menu is limited and there are ongoing works on a new spa - which will be a fabulous addition once completed. "

"This hotel was a good value for the price and location. The service was great and we received a great recommendation for dinner right down the street. The only negative feedback I have is that the bathrooms are outdated - our toilet ran frequently and the faucet dripped. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well. "

"One hour and a half for the check in due to a problem between Expedia and the hotel. We had to fix the problem by calling ourself the support and then pass the phone to the manager of the hotel. It was unreal, I would have expected a more friendly approach after the help we gave and not to stand for more than an hour in the hall arguing about breakfast and conditions. Maybe the best staff but in this uncommon situation they didn’t show it."

"The hotel is well located and we had a big room overlooking the port. We were a bit disappointed with the poor quality of the property and an overall musty smell especially in the corridors which have no ventilation. Its overpriced for the quality. I dont recall any AC but by opening window and (rotting) skylight the draft was sufficient for September. "
