"An older property but clean. Wonderful staff. Some fixes were quickly dealt with. 2 mins from the station. Many nearby shops and good restaurants and bars. Busy area but everyone very friendly. There was a free minibar and free booze in decanters — that’s a first! Don’t expect single malt."

"1 night stay as seeing a band at the hydro. Location excellent as it is a stones throw away from the venue and not far from the city centre. Was a 25 minute easy walk or can get a 4 minute train from central to exhibition station. Service was excellent, particularly the lady at reception and 2 gentlemen and lady at breakfast the following morning. Room was very comfortable and has everything you need. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, good selection of hot food, pastries, fruit and...

"Handy location for byres road. Easy walk from hillhead underground station. The bar was well stocked and lively. Breakfast was reasonably priced for a hotel (booking the night before is cheaper £11 than deciding on the day ). Cooked veggie choices at breakfast were quite limited by modern standards though. And perhsps because it was christmas the party going on in the function suite was audible in our 2nd floor bedroom until after midnight. "
