"Off to a wee bit of a bad start as I was a very late arrival due to the storm & the hotel reception was locked. I had tried to contact hotel to inform them I was going to arrive late but phone lines were down due to the storm - in hindsight I should have emailed. Stay in the hotel was lovely, great room, excellent food & plenty of Guinness. Have stayed before & would definitely stay again. The hotel price is also extremely good value. "

"Bed was comfortable but the whole property needs some updating. The breakfast was good, staff very friendly and accommodating, it just feels like the property on the whole is past its peak and it needs an overall renovation to bring it up to todays standards and aesthetic. "

"Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!"
