"The property accommodated us with the best view room facing the water. The room was large but a bit musty and the carpet felt wet. . Once I opened a window and turned on the air conditioner I was able to clear up the mustiness that was rough on my throat. Slept peacefully and without problem for the night. The area is beautiful. Easy to walk to restaurants and drive to the beach. A great deal."

"The location is beautiful and the view from the room was uninterrupted of the bay water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only “disappointment” was the dinner dining. I was expecting something more elegant and special considering the cost of the rooms. We chose to eat outside- it was a gorgeous summer evening- and we had to order at the bar, get a buzzer and then go and pick up our food. If we had chosen to eat inside we would’ve still had to order at the bar but they would have...

"Only a couple of very minor things I feel could be addressed. While we were in a deluxe pet friendly cabin it was annoying to have yapping dogs beside us with owners who lacked consideration of others ie us as non pet owners "

"This historic hotel has been beautifully renovated. My room was spacious and decorated appropriately to fit in with the historic theme of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was included which was all I needed to start my day. Would stay here again if in the area"
