"Chisomo was fantastic. The manager Steven (or Stephen?) was wonderful and ever present. Food was great and plentiful. Rooms were everything you’d want. The property - pool, walkways, dining area - were all very well maintained. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All the activities were very well-executed and planned. Drivers/guides/trackers were wonderful (knowledgeable, friendly, professional, etc.). Highly recommended. "

"Karongwe River Lodge is simply PERFECT! We couldn’t recommend it more. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had a incredible view of the river, where we often saw various types of animals (crocodiles, giraffes, impalas, inhalas, hipos, and more). "Great little place if you want to avoid some of the more exorbitant places in kruger. Saw the big 5 after a day and a half, plus cheetah, giraffe, hippo and plenty more. The 3 nights we stayed was plenty. "
