As for breakfast it was good but would have been better to have had a choice of eggs...

"Property is very grand and well maintained. There is some work going on in the grounds at the moment but that doesn't detract from the way it looks or is presented. Rooms in the paddock annex are nice but wifi was lacking which wasn't ideal as we were there for work purposes. Only other downside, is that the food choices are either high end or the bar menu which itself is limited. There needs to be more a mid-range restaurant option in my opinion. "We were able to check in early, which was very appreciated! Initially we were given a room that smelled bad, but when I spoke to the front desk they immediately offered to move us to another room. Very happy with the attentiveness of the staff and the quality and comfort of the room. Location is perfectly situated in Oxford."

The lighting over the desk seemed less than adequate, though (the only small niggle in an otherwise superb accommodation. The variety available at breakfast at a relatively small cost was extremely good. A very pleasurable experience. We hope to stay again. "
