"So that we're on the same page here, Yogyakarta sucks. You can't walk anywhere, not even really one block from the hotel. The air is dirty from the millions of scooters and there's not much to do outside of the two big temples far out of town. Given that as the baseline, the Gaia Cosmo is a decent hotel. "I was disappointed for the housekeeping to throw my face soap yo the dustbin. They should have known that they can not throw anything except what it is inside the dustbin. First time that I knew, I complained to the receptionist but slow response until I called them again. "The hotel needs to update its facilities because it is already too old. It does not live up to it’s 4-star hotel status. We booked it hoping that we will have a wonderful experience in a 4-star hotel, but we were very disappointed with the quality of room we had.
