"Easy check in, great breakfast selection. Parking on sight and rooms were nice and spacious. Some renovations are needed as our bathroom wasn’t in the greatest condition and the shower door was hanging off. Not soaps provided, I bring my own but if anyone doesn’t. Decent kitchenette size. I didn’t like that rooms are located next to outdoor exits and easy enough for people to access even though they are located. It is a little ride to the hotel from the highway. "If you value beauty and tranquility then this is your place. Hotel La Palma was gorgeous. The staff were great and friendly. The location was perfect, you are able to see the coastline and the mountains. It is conveniently located near the train station so if you’d like to go into a busier area you have that option. "Fabulous location overlooking Lake Maggiore, and across the road from the ferry port, making it super-easy to visit the Borromeo Islands and even Switzerland! The room was beautifully clean and comfortable. What was particularly nice was the free coffee bar in the lounge and the "sweetie bar" in reception, and the welcome drinks & nibbles were an exceptional touch. Everything is within close walking distance, with lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Would definitely stay here again."
