"This review is for sister hotel next door at hotel Grand Savoia where we got upgraded. It’s great they let us check in early at 10 am coming from a cruise. A great 5 star hotel with nice reception desk and elegant lounge. Room was very nice clean and a good size except mattress was little soft. Train station and bus stops including bus for hop on hop off bus is just across."

"I visited this hotel in April with my mother. We chose the superior room with a balcony and it was wonderful. Our room had a queen bed and a separate area with a twin bed and a second balcony. It was very spacious and comfortable with beautiful bedding, pillows and towels. The room had everything we could want: an espresso machine, kettle, fridge and all toiletries. We chose to add breakfast to our reservation and it was excellent with many choices and excellent coffee. The port area is lively and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the old town, restaurants and shops and public transportation. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again."

"The location of the hotel made me feel a bit unsafe. But the hotel staff was nice and the service provided together with the room expectations were more than what we needed. We ate diner at the hotel to avoid going out, there were plenty of parking, and the breakfast buffet had many options."
