Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

"Overall a vey high quality hotel. However, I had half board and although the quality of the food was excellent , I would have thought that dinner should give some options on the menu. They were happy to provide alternative if I had asked during the day. Butter should given with the bread instead having to ask each time. An additional cheese dish at 22 euros is a little expensive."

Camping très prisés des touristes hollandais, plusieurs problèmes avec la réservation hôtels.com, le camping ne trouvant pas trace, puis voulant nous facturer les draps. "We spent 4 nights at Les hauts de Comborcieres during the Christmas break. The apartment was comfortable. It is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. The pool was really nice too. It is too bad that it closes on Saturdays and that it does not open later at night (it closes at 7:30 pm and it is very crowded in the evening). Les Hauts de Comborcieres is not really a hotel. The apartment is not cleaned daily which was not a problem for us, but we had to take the towels and sheets down to...

"The rooms were nice, modern and tidy. But it was very small in the toilet The food was amazing however not much option for young kids. Everything was in french so had to guess what the food was. With an allergy I find this quite surprising that you don’t alsl have English written. The staff was accommodating in the restaurant and bar. However the reception staff I found very rude, abrupt and very unhelpful. I was not advised of the hotel amenities and general hotel information. With no English...

"Super friendly staff - and valloire is a beautiful town! Didn’t realise it was not a regular hotel so making beds after a long flight was not really fun... 400euro deposit which we found expensive compared to other hotels during our euro trip... also took ages to come back to our card which took a chunk from our budget. Had to clean and vacuum the room after stay too... Great little unit but more like a holiday pet than a hotel... Staff made the stay worth while however !!! "
