"Loved it here! This hotel is approx 1hr away from the airport. But it's in the beach front (accessable from hotel). Nearby are other hotels and hiking trials. Food: Initially I booked breakfast only and upgraded once at the hotel to half board - the only places to eat nearby are in hotels. The food was great, breakfast is the same everyday which includes a range of hot breakfast foods like omelettes, beans, bacon, hashbrowns etc, porridge/oatmeal and pastries and cold food like meats and cheeses. Dinner would change daily and some nights were themed. But again there are always 3 counters. Hot foods offering meats and fish, build your own salad and plenty of desserts. One downside, you have to pay for water at dinner. Lunch options are to visit the pizzeria or you can get a sandwich from one of the bars near the pool. Things to do: Hotel staff are very friendly and speak a range of languages. We hired a car for a day (from hotel reception) parking is free. Booked a private spa room - this was lovely and booked after arriving to the hotel. You can even get drinks delivered to the spa room. Games room - there are €2 pool tables and some other games. The hotel also has a tennis court! Shops inside the hotel: there are 2 shops. Both having clothing/swimwear. One also has gifts, jewellery and even some snacks. Swimming pools: There are 3 outdoor pool, most people go to the pools furtherest away from the hotel. 1 indoor pool and hot tub for all guests"

"We had a fab time staying here. The beach and sea water very clean. Steps to beach require some effort but good exercise after a day lying on the beach. Food and Drink facilities were generous and some great dining options too."

"Great food at both dinner and breakfast, the beach is excellent for walking and swimming. There was unfortunately no kettle for hot water in the room and the coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. Instead of Nescafe machines dispensing low-quality 'instant' coffee, the hotel could have provided a large pot of simple filter coffee for guests. "

"Raggiunta la struttura, bellissima specialmente nella hall ed agevole l’accesso alla spiaggia meravigliosa e pulita. Mare strepitoso. Non presente come in Italia, la possibilità di abbinare il soggiorno in struttura ed il noleggio di ombrellone/sdraio in spiaggia. L’hotel su richiesta rilascia gratuitamente l’ombrellone da piazzare ovunque si voglia sull’enorme spiaggia. Veniamo alle pecche: scarsa l’organizzazione delle pulizie che venivano fatte a seconda di chi c’era di turno ma comunque in linea di massima non siamo MAI rimasti senza assistenza se loro andavano fuori orario e noi richiedevamo che venisse fatta. Forse buona la cucina internazionale… ma posso garantire solo quello che ho gustato, ovvero verdure, frutta e qualche pezzo di salmone crudo con limone, olio e pepe. Colazioni, pranzi e cene sempre generose. Di tanto in tanto le stoviglie non proprio pulite, basta controllarle e chiederne la sostituzione: lo staff è meraviglioso. "

"We stayed only one night because we took the ferry from Gran Canaria to visit friends from Germany who were staying at Aldriana. It was a successful visit and we completely enjoyed our first stay at Cactus Garden. We would be happy to stay again. "

"Lots of pools, nice bars. Needed to be more evening entertainment - was only on a few days. Need more English channels especially a news channel, maybe some of Smart TV"
