"Such a lovely hotel on the south side of the island. It’s close to the airport but not so close to be noisy. There is a bus stop right outside which was really helpful as we didn’t hire a car. There are some lovely cliff top walks straight from the hotel. The rooms were huge, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ll definitely be back!"

"We had a fabulous 4 days at the hotel. Breakfast was exceptional, and food generally was a good standard. Every member of staff went out of their way to make the stay so enjoyable. Room with views over the lake was excellent. Two big events were put on over the weekend, but no excessive noise. Out only slight disappointment was the spa facilities were fully booked,.which the ladies in our party were looking forward to using. "

"We were moved to the OGH and were throughly spoiled. We had a King sea-view room which was wonderful. The bed and bedding were first class, very comfortable. The hotel was immaculate and staff were all impeccable. We loved our four days there and wish it could have been longer!"

"This place is in very quiet area and surrounded by lovely garden and about 10 minutes walk to the nearest Fermain beach. It had a few choices of adjacent restaurants but the choice is slightly limited unless you go to St Peter’s port town. The hotel staff are all lovely and friendly and accommodated to our needs. The breakfast choice was so great and plentiful, and delicious so we enjoyed it very much. There was a sauna and swimming pool which we could use until 8pm. The room we had had a balcony so it was a bit pricy option compared to not having no balcony but it was worth it although I was not pleased with the fact that when the balcony window was open in the morning, sometimes I could smell someone (possibly staff) was having a cigarette/ smoke outside just right down of our balcony at the end of the building side on the second floor. I do not like the smoke smell so this was the down side of the room. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there over all. "
