"Great location right across the marina"

"We stayed at Agapi Beach Resort from 27/10 to 03/11/24 for the third consecutive year. This place never fails to disappoint. Beautiful hotel complimented by the fantastic staff. The accommodation is lovely and cleaned thoroughly every day. The food is lovely and varied each day. As you walk around the hotel the grounds are immaculate with an array of trees, bushes, plants and flowers. Numerous pools dotted about. The beach is two minutes from the main complex. Beach towels provided every day. There are different places on the complex to eat. We can’t praise Agapi Beach Resort enough. Just something about the place that just makes us want to go back every year. Hopefully we will again in 2025. "

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! The front desk also made us a reservation for the el la carte dinner which was also free. The staff didn’t hesitate when we asked them to book us a taxi to check out city centre as well as booking an early taxi to get us to the port the morning we checked out, also supplying us with a box breakfast to go. Highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! "

"We stayed for 2 weeks using it as a base to visit museums in Heraklion and for visiting the south and east of the island. The hotel is in the centre of the city, ideal for sightseeing and restaurants, but in a very built up area. Parking is at a premium in this area, with cars parked absolutely everywhere around the hotel. The hotel has a great arrangement with a valet parking lot, literally across the street from them which worked perfectly for us. We stayed in a Business Room, Courtyard View which was very compact with just enough storage and the view from a tiny balcony was of another buildings wall a few metres away. If you would like somewhere to sit outside, then this room is not suitable and did detract from our otherwise lovely stay in this hotel. If staying for a couple of nights it would be appropriate, but if we were staying as long again, we would pay extra and take a larger room with a balcony at the front of the building. The staff were amazing, so kind, friendly and helpful making us feel "at home" during our stay. They worked such long hours, but nothing was too much trouble. On the last night as we had stayed so long, they provided a lovely surprise gift which was so kind of them. Breakfast was more than adequate with continual restocking of the buffet. There is also a small bar just off the reception area. We enjoyed staying at this hotel and would use it again."
