"We have had a wonderul holiday in the Ardeche, staying at this grand gite in Joyeuse. We are a family of 3 with a teenage daughter so it was an ideal property for us with lots of space, including 2 en suite rooms and a further bathroom, well equipped kitchen and 2 terraces all to oursleves. "Nous avons découvert, à l'issue d' une descente chaotique et difficilement carrossable, une maison pleine de charme, typique de la région, avant de nous apercevoir que l'annonce publiée ne correspondait pas à la réalité -équipements: absence de wifi, d'internet, de sèche-cheveux. -terrain de 1ha: impraticable, car pas du tout entretenu, aucun accès au ruisseau, ni à l'acqueduc! -terrain de pétanque inexistant! -absence de volets dans 2 chambres, donc impossible de garder la fraicheur dans la...

"We stayed two nights but wished we could have stayed a few more. The host and hostess were very helpful and hospitable. The room was delightful: spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, and the best rain shower I have ever experienced. Our room came with its own terrace. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the terrace by the pool to watch the sky change colour as the sun set and to listen to the frogs and birds. This place is perfection. "

"The hotel is clean and convenient for exploring the beautiful town of Joyeuse on foot. The restaurant is excellent and I highly recommend having dinner there! The continental breakfast, which was a small additional cost, was also delicious and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were fairly basic, but very clean and it looks like the decor has been updated. Overall a very nice experience and I would not hesitate to stay there again."
